The course on bone grafts is an advanced course directed towards
graduates of the surgical and prosthetic
program. It deals with the different techniques of rebuilding the
bone, both the maxilla and the mandible. The course covers the various
choices of donor sites such as the symphysis mandibulae, the external
oblique ridge, the mandibular ramus, the tuberosities and the tori.
The techniques for sampling and transplanting from each of these
sites are described.
